ClickFunnels 2.0 is an all-in-one platform for marketing and selling. It helps you make different kinds of web pages and automate your sales process. The ClickFunnels team created the 2.0 version on an entirely different code base. This means that the original ClickFunnels 1.0 (“Classic”) version could not migrate existing funnels to the new 2.0 builder.
While 2.0 promises some major upgrades, this platform is very much a work in progress.
You can sell digital or physical products and set up automatic marketing campaigns. You can create standard websites, opt-in pages, landing pages, membership websites, squeeze pages, webinars, and tons more. But don’t be surprised if you find a lot of grayed-out features that will be “coming soon” for a while into the future.

If making funnels is your goal, this is the best sales funnel builder choice, aesthetically. Even though HighLevel is making great strides to enhance and upgrade their builder, ClickFunnels still has the superior design interface for this core functionality. Creating funnels with it is easy and enjoyable. You can see and edit your funnel steps on one screen and customize each page. Plus, you can add cool features like A/B testing, different paths, upsells, and downsells, and also provide templates.
Website & Landing Builder
It has fantastic tools for building web pages. It gives us lots of templates to start with, and we can easily customize them using a simple drag-and-drop tool. We can add various elements like videos, audio, pop-ups, and more to make our pages unique.
Courses & Membership Sites
ClickFunnels 2.0 has a tool for building courses that works like the page builder. You can use it to make lesson pages with videos, audio, documents, and membership sites where people can access all the courses. But, it doesn’t have a way to do live streaming and no feature for creating a community, so it’s not great for coaches.
CRM Tools
ClickFunnels currently lacks robust CRM capabilities. You can only create and organize contact lists, and that’s about it. However, ClickFunnels 2.0 is planning to add CRM features soon, but we don’t know exactly when. There are sections on the platform that say “Coming Soon” when you hover over them.
Automation
ClickFunnels 2.0 has automation features in its funnel and email tools. You can make steps in a funnel happen automatically and set up email campaigns to run on their own. You can also automate things like enrolling people in courses, but it’s not as advanced as what GoHighLevel can do.
User Experience
ClickFunnels 2.0 is user-friendly with a well-organized interface. But, some features are hard to find, and the help guides aren’t complete. So, we had to reach out to customer support often, which made things slower for us.
